hello!
i'm the grand chancellor of tau delta phi here in our country, the Philippines. i'm looking forward to have a contact to some of you, because we confused here if we are the same.we are using same year. 1910. and according to some of our alumni, our orgs. the tau delta phi was founded in new york.
in our by-laws, the tau delta phi was brought here in the philippines by the US soldiers during world war II. untill it was reorganized after the said war. untill now, the fraternity was spreading all over in our country. we are also coed with our sorority.
last 2 years there are many revelations that come up, we've meet some members that claiming, there are also chapters in there school and after we checked, it's true!!! their password, rituals and also there marks are similar to us.
also, according to our alumni. there is a national convention held every year during their time,there are some foreigner attented in the said occassion, especially americans. and it was stop 3 years ago due to lack of financial support.
and now, we decided to continue the said event. we contact some of our chapter here in the philippines and they are willing to support and participate on that occasion especially our alumni.
tentatively, it will be schedule on this coming december.and because our chapter here in mindanao state university - general santos city has a large number, we are willing to be come a host on the said occassion.
