Not all badge collectors are "GDIs." Many are Greek themselves.

Over time, I have come to feel that badge-collecting is not an unmitigated evil. Many badge collectors cherish and treasure their collections, which (unfortunately) was clearly not happening to the badges beforehand if they are being sold on eBay.

I don't think GDI is really a good term for us to use as Greeks, anyway.

Oh, geez.

It looks like something you wear to a rave or a stoner music festival.

I come across a few badges and pins each week buying scrap gold lots and at estate sales have a few on ebay now. If you are interested in any of the listings on ebay and they take best offers look up the spot price of gold and offer 40% over spot since on ebay after the close to 20% they take in fees as a gold seller the 20% profit is enough. most of the time I end up melting them down though since interest in them is low. If there was more of a market for them I would go ahead and pay spot on them and buy more of them.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/123082501955 just melted down another one of these the other day.
