rushing as a junior?
I'll be rushing as a junior at University of Tampa this fall. I am not a transfer, I honestly just had a lot going on and didn't think I would have the time to be fully committed, but it's something I've always really wanted to do!
Does anyone have any advice they could give me? Does being a junior effect my chances??

You should know best how juniors fare at your campus. You've been there for 2 years. Do you know any sorority members on campus? Ask them.

Another question to ask yourself is do you now have the time to fully commit to the demands of sorority membership? Just something to keep in mind, if this is something you want to pursue. Has life demands changed to the point where you do have extra time to do this and continue with your studies. As FSUZeta mentioned it would be worthwhile to ask sorority members at your campus as they can give you real-life advice on the campus greek culture far better than most on this site would be able to give you.

I definitely have the time for it now which is why I'm finally going through with it! I have talked to a few friends in sororities and they said it's perfectly fine to rush as a junior and that I should do it, but can't give me much more detail. I was just curious if anyone else on here could give some insight or tips!!

U of Tampa is not a competitive recruitment, but if you can line up recommendations for all the sororities there, it certainly can't hurt. Good luck.

As FSUZeta said, recommendations may be helpful. As far as more tips: read through the many threads in this forum and the Recruitment Stories as well. There are several great examples of how to excel at recruitment as an upperclassman.
