It's at other theaters here, too. One of my clients said the theater she goes to has it where you can see both of them for the price of one. I totally forgot to ask about that last night.

They seem to be running a lot of classics lately, or in this case not quite classics. Looking around there is not much in movie availability right now leading up to the summer crush. So this is a good way to get people at the theatres twice.

Neighbors

Just what we need, another movie showing what obnoxious, arrogant drunks fraternities can be. Any chance there will be a message that redeems this movie? I am not betting on it. Neighbors

I went to see Captain America, yesterday, and it was awesome! Much better than the first one. I didn't really like the first one that much, now that I think about it.

Finally went to see Divergent.

Not too bad. It was hard for me to remember the book.

"Transcendence" was awesome. Johnny Depp is such a good actor.

I'm watching 12 Years a Slave.

I now see why some of my family didn't see the hoopla over the movie.

So what, he and his family were "free" (which requires papers)?

You aren't really free when the majority of your people are enslaved. You aren't really free if you require papers. That is regardless of whether you live in NY or GA. To get so comfortable and pretend there was no racism, oppression, and you could freely mingle with whites and get drunk with whites is pretty stupid and lame on his part.

Except for those born into slavery, most slaves were free people before they were sold or captured into slavery (whether by whites or their own people). It doesn't matter whether you were free in your homeland or free in the U.S.

It is a good movie but not because it is heartbreaking and shocking. Good acting.

I saw The Other Woman last night which is not deeply moving or thought provoking but I had not laughed that hard in a very long time.

I went to see Spiderman 2 over the weekend. It was ok. I like the first one much better. I thought Jamie Fox's character was awful.

Godzilla wasn't a bad movie, it was just really long and somewhat boring. There just wasn't enough action. Anyone who hasn't seen it, and wants to, I recommend not seeing it in 3-D. There were like zero 3-D effects. None.

X-Men was awesome! Best one, so far and a must see for those who haven't seen it, yet.

I saw Belle (Dido Elizabeth Belle) this past week and hoping to catch Finding Vivian Maier in Berkeley this weekend.
