For sure. Especially if a chapter is serving a lime or lemon slice in their ice water!

Not a fan of press-on nails. Difficult to keep on for several days as moisture affects the adhensive (showering, washing hands). You don’t want to be “the girl with only 9 Lee Press-On nails” if 1 pops off.

Even if your nails are short, get a mani pedi just before Recruitment. Get a gel polish manicure in an understated color (like the Queen’s preferred “ballet slipper pink”) or a French or American manicure. Gel polish lasts longer.

Two other things to bring with you, depending on the weather: umbrella and/or sunglasses

Totally agree on gel manicures - nothing looks worse than chipped nails so the gel process overrides that. I love ballet slipper pink, subtle and clean.

IF your Manicure gets chipped during Recruitment, have a bottle of that color so you can mend it in a pinch.

My goddaughter had a understated glitter nail color on hand during Recruitment as glitter can cover any imperfection.

I posted this in the UGA thread as well, but here is a link to the UGA student newspaper daily photos of recruitment https://www.redandblack.com/multimed...5ebd9e.html#19

I think it is a good "real-world" look at what sisters and other PNMs are wearing for each round of recruitment.
