Is anybody getting prepared for fall recruitment yet?!

We start work week on August 6th and recruitment on August 15th so I just got my packet of information on Friday! I'm anxious to see if anybody else is preparing for recruitment or advising a chapter who is!

The chapter I advise moves back into the house the second week of August. I know the Membership chair has been working on things over the summer, and I've been working on the chapter house with the House Director. The girls are going to be so surprised/happy when they come back!

I know the Epsilon Kappa membership chair and the membership advisor have been working all summer on recruitment. And I have been really busy over the past three weeks or so as we have planted new flowers, I have been getting estimates for paint touch ups, small repairs, and summer cleaning.

I also have big surprises for the women when they return as I have been able to purchase patio furniture for the back patio!! We did not have anything for them on the back patio, but I found the set I loved from Lowes on sale! The best part is that I also found an alum to donate all of it, and we are also going to be able to get them a grill! The chef will also be very happy with that.

So all in all, this has been a productive summer in SC!!

I am also working on planning Eta Alpha's Formal Recruitment... which isn't until January! So you will need to feed my recruitment addiction with plenty of stories in August! I may even come by the EK house and stay with Elise!

OK so now it's August and many of my friends are heading back to school for recruitment. For some reason, I know lots of people on the PNM side this year, and their excitment has worn off on me! I can't wait to hear how everyone does with fall recruitment! Good luck!!!

I am also really excited to see what fall recruitment holds for all the PNMs I know as well as all the chapters! I think I will be visiting EK this weekend!

...staying with my fave leadership/chapter consultant elise!! more officially, "getting ideas for HA recruitment!"

The parties at EK start tomorrow!!! PKTKKG and I are just too excited!!!

The patio furniture looks so pretty, and the grill is great. The flowers are blooming, the painters did a fantastic job, and the whole house is beautiful and waiting for new members!!!

LuvUTrulyKKG, come on down--we can always use another Kappa!

Four days of recruitment are now OVER here at Mizzou!! We're just waiting patiently until tomorrow afternoon when we find out who our new members are!!

98% return rate after day one, when PMs cut from 13 houses to 9. 94% return rate after day two, when PMs cut from 9 to 5. And 78% return rate after the third day... when PMs cut from 5 houses to their final three. We were pretty happy!

Those are great! Iowa State's bid day was today, I haven't heard numbers yet. Iowa's bid day is on Sunday. I'm going down tomorrow night to help since our RDC and CCD will be there and then again Saturday night (pref night). I'm so excited! I think our Membership adviser said we had around a 94% return rate after the first day.

) at EK's house tonight!!! They are going to be in Columbia the whole weekend.

Hey girls! It was nice to meet ya'll yesterday. It was fun to help at the party and see the skit, EK is doing FABULOUS thus far! I can't wait to hear the update after prefs...
