I have no idea. I checked my pillow and there is no tag or brand on there.
When I was an active (early 90s) the Greek store near campus carried them. Pretty much every sorority member received one from her big for initiation.
ETA: I still don't know who makes them, but they are still around and available through various Greek stores. Here is one.

This is my Dad's Kappa Sigma badge from some time in the 40's- actually 3/26/49. I didn't realize it was dated. The picture does not do justice to the opals. It is a beautiful pin and has a lot of sentimental meaning for me.
The Sigma Nu badge is my husbands.
This is my second AXO badge. The first one was lost in the snow not to long after initiation. The guard was a gift from the Chapter I advise at and should be Gamma Xi not Gamma Zeta- so maybe they aren't up on their Greek alphabet. Have some how lost my dangles but the Advisor one is new. I just got it. My original pledge ribbon, not sure where my pledge pin is. This pillow was my preference gift when I went through recruitment in 1981.

Wow, just wow, to all of this.
Blondie, that Dyer is making everyone jealous!
AXOrushadvisor, everything you've posted has almost put me into a state of shock! Your father's badge is nothing short of incredible!
I sometimes wish is thread had some more action, but the less frequent posting has made every post more exciting!

@axorushadvisor, that picture is so lovely. It's awesome that you were able to include your father's and husband's badges and your own badge from the chapter you advise. (I'm sorry your original badge was lost.)
I'm curious about the ribbons. The AXO chapter at my school didn't issue ribbons. Instead, new members went through "Initiation Part 1" (sorry if I've gotten the terminology wrong) and got their new member stick pins ASAP after bid day.
AEPhi does give ribbons to new members in a formal ribboning ceremony ASAP after bid day. This is followed by a pinning ceremony a short time later, and initiation several weeks later.

I'm an old bat and today the process has changed. Back in the olden days we went to our first pledging ceremony and received the ribbon first, then the pledge pin and finally initiation with our badge. Now the girls go through the first degree of initiation where they receive their pledge pin. I think someone just told me they are going back to the stick pin? I might be wrong about that. I don't pay much attention to that part of Chapter business

AXOrushadvisor, I LOVE your Dad's Kappa Sigma badge (I'm a fool for opals). Your pledge ribbon looks exactly like mine (save the green instead of yellow) -- those grosgrain ribbons frayed at the end from lots of wear. Love it.

Old DOA fraternity
Hello. There was an old medical fraternity called Delta Omicron Alpha....merged with Kappa Psi. It was founded in 1907 at Tulane.
Has anyone ever seen a badge or pin from this society?
Thanks.
