Something new: my veil

Something old: my grandmother had hand embroidered a lace hanky (it is beautiful with pink flowers & delicate needlework) & made it into a bonnet for me to wear home from the hospital when I was born - upon your wedding day you cut the few threads & it is hanky to carry at your wedding. She didn't do this for my sisters, my mother believed she heard the women of her quilting group discussing customs from the 17 & 1800's & wanted to make one(incase I was a girl, of course).

Something barrowed: my sister's wedding dress
