Question Junior going through recruitment?

I'm transfering from a junior college to a university near by and I'm very interested in sorority life. However, I'll be a junior when the fall semester starts. I've read a few posts that seem pretty positive about my situation but does any one know how tough the greek system is to get involved in at SFASU for juniors? I would appreciate any kind of help you ladies can offer!! I'm looking foward to hearing from yall!

I'm not sure how many GCers are from SFASU or familiar with Greek Life there.

If you want to know how competitive recruitment is there or the chances of upperclassmen receiving bids, try and contact the Greek Life office. They'd be your best source of info. Everything else is just speculation and might not be as accurate.

All I know is that SFASU has five NPC sororities: Tri-Delt, AXO, Chi Omega, Zeta and Delta Zeta...

Good luck!

Axe 'em Jacks!

I went to SFASU, but I graduated in 1992. When I was there, Sigma Kappa was leaving and Gamma Phi Beta colonized a couple of years later (they have since left as well).

Recruitment is quite competitive, but keep in mind that I am projecting that based on my recollections from more than 15 years ago. Greeks are involved in just about about every "top-tier" organization, such as SGA and Supreme Court. University Programs (now called Student Activities Association) also had a fair share of Greeks.

If you would like to know any more, please PM me.

Sorry - I guess I live in a small universe. I saw SFASU and literally jumped out of my chair. I didn't even think others would not understand.

Thanks for posting the complete school name - I was playing the guessing game and was totally going the wrong direction, starting the school name every time with "San Francisco". That's about as far as it went.
