So, the Houston boy and I had a LONG talk tonight... The first real "us" kind of conversation.

Obviously, we can't date seriously right now, but that's not what I want.

So, I told him EXACTLY how I feel about him and exactly what I want from him and our situation right now. Talk as much as we do now, see each other more often, not stop ourselves from having feelings for each other because it's "bad timing"..... and see if there could really be something between us.

And he said he wants that too and that I am someone who, given the chance, he could have real feelings for and care a lot about.

We will see how this goes.... I miss him.

Things went really well with the boy last night. He and my friend's brother-in-law are seriously the same person and they got along wayyyy well.... like they've known each other forever. Everyong kept saing "do you guys know each other?" Went back to his house last night and hung out. Who knows where this is going. He's a manwhore... so probably nowhere.

cast: tanesha. straight woman, 21, black, about 5' 7"

TANESHA and GARRETT are two college students who live in the same building. they are coworkers on their staff and run out late at night for pizza.

enter from washington square south a black man who tries his hand at tanesha.

MAN: hey baby, youre looking fine tonight... [insert other cheesy, sleazy pick-up lines]
TANESHA: looks away, sighs in disgust, continues to walk and talk with GARRETT
MAN: you need to drop that whiteboy, ill show you some tricks

MAN yells louder to GARRETT

MAN: man, what you know about that? you can't handle that woman... [insert testosterone-induced ego-stroking]
GARRETT: confused, turns towards the MAN

GARRETT: what just happened? is he talking to you?
TANESHA: he thinks we're together.

TANESHA continues conversation as GARRETT is distant

moral of the story: i cant go ANYWHERE in the city with a white male without being harassed by black men because they all assume that we are together. just so happens that i am friends with a lot of clearly gay white men.

it really pisses me off but i can understand the assumption, as a lot of interracial dating is seen in the NYU area.

A study by an Italian sexologist has found that couples who have a TV set in their bedroom have sex half as often as those who don't.

"If there's no television in the bedroom, the frequency (of sexual intercourse) doubles," said Serenella Salomoni whose team of psychologists questioned 523 Italian couples to see what effect television had on their sex lives.

On average, Italians who live without TV in the bedroom have sex twice a week, or eight times a month. This drops to an average of four times a month for those with a TV, the study found.

Only four times a month?!?!? I'm never having a TV in my bedroom.

After finding out that I have today and tomorrow off (first days off in over 3 weeks), Mr. OTW decided not to go in to work as well.

He is unFREAKINGbelievable.

It'd be nice to have him take tomorrow off too, but Turtle Bay Champions of Golf starts tomorrow.
