IMO...if you liked Antoine Fuqua (and Training Day) you will like this...

That could be. However, that wasn't what I expected. I just thought it was going to be better. My problem was that it was entirely too slow, too much going on and it never quite came together for me.

The bolded I definitely agree with. I didnt want to see it but I was out voted. I left the theater wondering what the point of the movie was. Were they trying to show that nobody but a passive aggressive weak cop actually makes it in Brooklyn? lol. Because by the end of the movie there was no conclusion. The characters only intersected in random bumps into each other (literally). I think there was an attempt to make the movie a mash up of crash, training day, and in too deep. This attempt failed. Horribly.
