I'm not typically a fan of the mermaid, but I like your dress. You pulled it off really well (not everybody can pull off that silhouette). Maggie has some beautiful gowns.

Thanks! It really is a difficult silhouette, it doesnt hide very much so I really had to watch what I ate and tried to work out when I could just to make sure it would still be flattering.

You looked gorgeous!

So i'm gonna put my .02$, If I was getting married right now and I could afford them, I would pick one of these dresses:

Anne Barge Mermaid style dress

Amsale Lace Dress

Amsale Satin/Lace Empire waist

Another Amsale Lace w/ satin ribbon & flower

I am in love with these 2 designers at the moment

I absolutely LOVE the bodice of this dress, but it is priced at $$$ (which means over 5 grand). Yeah, in my dreams.
Here is a casablanca dressI've seen that has a similar bodice and their dresses are not nearly as expensive.

My dress is a casablanca and I was surprised at the price and was thinking it would be a lot more.

I know! Im pretty much in love with her at the moment, but I doubt i'd ever be able to afford any of those dresses.

The ones I posted are from her "blue" collection which is the more expensive line.

I really like it too. I found it on her website, and it is white w/ that purple ribbon. For some reason I like it better with that baby blue hue.

My friend showed me the pictures she's thinking of for her wedding dress. She hasn't quite found "the dress" yet, so back to the drawing board. She's getting married in a little more than 6 months, so I guess she has to pick something soon?

Most stores say you should order your dress no later than 6-9 months before the wedding date. I recently went to a store with one of my friends who is getting married in June, and she was told that she should order by at least December.
