Any Texas Tech Alums?

I'm thinking about attending Graduate school for Agriculture Communications at Texas Tech. I was wondering if anybody had any great experiences at TT they wanted to share!
I'm going into this pretty blindly, but not many schools offer my Graduate Degree. Texas Tech seems to be one of the best.

Not an alum, but I do live in the Texas Tech area and have quite a few friends who teach in the Ag school. It's a great community. The graduates place very well. I'm not sure if you could find another place with professors who are as invested in their community and their students. (Perhaps Texas A&M for connections, but Tech has a lot of "born and bred" West Texans on staff and they tend to be VERY friendly.)

You can't go wrong with the Ag School.

Not at Texas Tech alum, either, but I do live in Lubbock. It's a great community, although I miss some big city things and of course all my friends/family back home!
