The lack in number of GC posts in past several hours has me hopeful that everyone here experiences a beautiful, connecting weekend with family and friends!

Thankful for the ignore function. So thankful. Oh, and Phrozen Sands, you nailed it.

I too am thankful for the Ignore function, which I just utilized.
Some people are entirely too invested in the idea they cannot be WRONG.

My daughter came home with a golden retriever puppy this weekend, promptly said "here, mom", and now I have a new friend in the house with no name and no dog supplies. We're going on an outing to get him set up and I have to say...it'll be nice to have a distraction.

That's a fun age. I got my Karelian Bear Dog about two years after he'd been whelped but wish I had him earlier. We had my Samoyed at 12 weeks.

Golden puppers are fantastic. My niece got one at 5 weeks right at the start of the Pandemic. She was supposed to get him at 6 weeks but the breeder was afraid they wouldn't be able to reach each other the following week. The pup has been a pure joy; he is such a great companion and so well behaved.
While I'm sure it was a surprise, you will never regret it.

This will be my second! He's a 7 week old bundle! I think that her plan was to always bring him home to mom so that I wouldn't become too much of an empty nester while everyone's gone from home! I'm lucky enough to have kept the bad carpeting down, I was going to rip it up and have white laid down instead!
