SEC Recruitment coming up!
Yeaaa! The first SEC recruitment starts in less than a month! War Eagle, woo pigs, hail State, and whatever the other schools' cheers are!
My daughters and I have already written a ton of recs, mostly for SEC schools...I've informed them that there are a couple of PNMs that I hope that Pi Phi beats their groups out for!

Is this your subtle way of saying, "Batten down the hatches!"?

Don't forget "Go Dawgs," carnation!!
I've written 7 recs for UGA, 1 for LSU, 1 for Auburn, and 1 for Tennessee thus far... and that's just the SEC schools! I'm hoping for more than 1 Delta Gamma this year (I've only had 1 girl go DG each year out of my rec girls in 2004 and 2005).
What do y'all do to make your recs stand out when you're writing them for a huge recruitment like those in the SEC? My mom has started writing hers on red, buff, and green paper (she's an Alpha Gam), and I think I might follow suit with pink and blue... just to catch the eyes of the gals reading them.

Our kids' high school will have at least 3 rushing at Auburn and 1 that I know of at Georgia. At smaller schools around Georgia, they would have their pick of groups but at these schools...well, hold onto your hats for a wild ride. Two of them are legacies but that seems to matter less and less as the number of legacies grows.

Unfortunately, the Alpha Xi Delta chapter at University of Tennessee closed this past spring.

Thanks for the note. Sad news indeed.
For what it is worth, the chapter is still listed on the UT website. I guess they will (should) update it soon.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but...
TSteven, I don't believe DPhiE is participating in formal recruitment at Georgia this year.
DGdramadawg, thanks for all the recs!

Hey, you're welcome... I'm up to 9 at UGA now (all friends of my sister). You have to get at least one of them!!

Thank you. I've added a note saying that they may not be participating. I will update once it has been confirmed one way or the other.
