I was flipping through one of my high school yearbooks, and someone was wearing a Kappa Alpha Psi sweatshirt in one of the student council photos. He looked too old to be in high school (obviously!), so maybe he was an alum visiting or what not.

There's a quilt in the room I'm studying in this morning- made to support the Equal Rights Amendment that has signatures and names on it. Thought I'd take a break and look at it- there's a square on the quilt (made in 1992) with Alpha Phi on it. Alpha Phi had a chapter at Iowa State from 1977 to 1998.

I went to see a play this weekend that pretty prominently featured Pi Beta Phi.

Coming back to Auburn last week, I saw an Alpha Sigma Alpha sticker on a car near mine. That is the first time I've ever seen a sticker for ASA!

You don't see Greek frames here either, ESPECIALLY NPHC, but I saw car with an AKA frame last week.

Was at the gym on saturday and there was hardly anyone in there. There was this other dude in there who was doing weights while I was doing cardio. As I was walking out I passed him and noticed he had letters on his t-shirt (it was a party shirt) and they were my letters, lol. I asked him where he was a Lambda Chi at and he said UT-Austin. He was now in medical residency here in SA. We started talking and turns out, he was one of the refounding fathers at UT in 1996, where as an undergrad at UT-San Antonio, I put on the ritual that initiated him and the rest of his founding fathers. Small world.

On antother note, there was a Tri-Delt in front of me today driving a green mustang. Dont see a lot of tri-delts here in SA.

Went home to visit my mom this weekend. Driving out to her house I passed a cemetary that had just gotten a new sign. I had never noticed the place before, but the sign definitely stood out. It was ACACIA.

I was digging through a box of junk looking for something with my RA this past weekend and there was a Sigma Sigma Sigma badge drawn on the wall in chalk. It really freaked out my RA before I explained what it was to her.

Once I was home in Fredericksburg, Va at BDubs and I wore my letters out for some weird reason (my chapter never wears our letters unless its a meeting or a philanthropy). I was basically tackled from behind by an alumni from Embry Riddle and shot the shit with him for about 2 hours. Good times.

I was walking out of my building and the girl who held open the door for me was wearing a Sigma Delta Tau date party shirt. Apparently she transfered from a school in NY (I know it was a SUNY school, but can't recall which).
