Delta, Delta Gamma

when you see the -- DGs walking
you will hear the -- people talking
that they wish that

Our door chant was a combo of ones I've seen:

With a D, With an E with an L, T, A, With a G, A, M, M, A
A Delta Gamma, that's what I amma.
I'm Delta Gam born, and Delta Gam bred
and when I die I'll be Delta Gam dead.
I am a DG (Point to self)
She is a DG (Point to neighbors)
We are all DGs
so be a DG too!

Repeat ad nauseum.

We sing Dream Girl at wedding receptions with the DG bride on a chair circled by the DGs present.

I know it's been a while, but I wanted to share the link to the new DG Soundcloud page...I'm loving listening to all of the old DG songs!

I just found that soundcloud page, and I'm loving it. I'm very disappointed that none of them are downloadable, though. I want to make a couple into ringtones for the sisters I speak to frequently.

"Hey Look Us Over" was our door song on the first day of rush at CSULB back in the 1980's. Instead of bursting through the front door like the other sororities did, we'd line up on the staircase to sing to the waiting group. Everyone dressed in red, white and blue with our sailor hats which served as our first day name tags.
