Unfortunately, there aren't that many details available, but this seems to be a situation I strongly disagree with. It appears a student was hospitalized with alcohol poisoning. Sigma Chi should be lauded for knowing when to call the ambulance rather than letting someone in a potentially life-threatening condition sleep it off. Not hospitalizing members who need to seek medical attention is what gets people killed. It seems pretty counter productive of Pitt to be punishing groups for doing the right thing (even if they were doing the wrong thing to begin with).
