At least they sound (based on this article) to be willing to work with Greek Life and are aware that Greeks do a lot of positive things for the school. The head of the task force seems to be a reasonable person.

Weintraub said that the task force will review recent incidents, but will be careful not to “allow a small number of incidents in one semester color our overall impression of Greek Life.”

"I expect that we will want to look into the history of suspensions in order to better understand whether the incidents of this year are an aberration or a continuing part of Greek culture at Vanderbilt,” Weintraub said. “And we will want to use a larger time-frame of events on Greek Row to evaluate the functioning of Greek Life at Vanderbilt.”
