Question Our Daughters

Hi Sisters,

I am new to Greek Chat. I have been an Alpha Xi Delta alum for thirty years.

Tonight my daughter is being initiated into Alpha Phi. She is so happy and excited. I am thrilled for her. She knows sisterhood is forever because my Alpha Xi sisters have been so sweet and have sent her presents since she was a baby. Thanks ladies.

My question is - have any of your daughters pledged Alpha Xi Delta? or did you ever give them any pressure? I never did, not even any pressure to go Greek. I have a younger daughter too - so I am just wondering.

So tonight, I am remembering my own beautiful inititation so many years ago. It is amazing how many details I can remember. We have such a meaningful ritual. I wish my daughter and all our daughters the best on their own paths to sisterhood.

So long for now - your Alpha Xi Sister and soon to be Alpha Phi Mom.

KYHope--

I understand! Of my 9 daughters, I don't have any Pi Phis yet, One's an AOII and one's a ChiO and the rest are not Greek but I hope they'll pledge someday.

I talked up Greek life a lot but since their schools have no Pi Phi chapters, that wasn't even an option.Maybe someday....
