COB- UWashington

COB- UWashington
Hello, I was hoping to get some help and advice.
I'm planning on transfering to UW next year during winter quarter, as a sophmore standing. I really want to try the greek system after hearing my friends talk about their experience in their sorority. I don't know that many people in the sorority system at UW. And i also know that there is formal requriment but I will have to particapate in COB because of how late I'm transfering. Can some one please explain how COB works. Do the bid take a while to recieve? Should I start contacting and seeking opportunites to meet with houses before I offically start school? Really would appreciate the help!

COB can be different at every chapter.

Why are you not transferring until the winter if you already know you want to transfer?

The reason i didn't transfer during fall is because I would be below transfer credit limits. So that's why im transfering during winter quarter. I'm currently attending a four year instate university.

Contact their Greek life or Panhel office in the fall. The process can differ from school to school, but they should be able to give you an idea of what to expect.

UW is very competitive to get into, whether as a freshman or as a transfer student.

Are you referring to admissions, or sorority recruitment? Or both?
