That does stink from a reputable testing agency but mistakes do happen on all levels. Didn't 4,000 SATs get mis-scored last month?
In college, I got a rejection letter from the university when I applied for the highest university honor (like Who's Who). The reason give was that my grades weren't high enough and minimum was a 2.7. I scratched my head in disbelief as I had way above that GPA. Apparently the idiot who looked up grades went by name and not Social Security # and there was another, albeit dumber, Denise ___ at my university. Luckily there was enough time to overturn it and invite me to the awards induction ceremony etc at the university president's house. At graduation the following month, wouldn't you know it, my father has video of her walking across the stage when they called "our" name and no video of me. UGH!!!
Denise
