East Carolina Recruitment?

My niece is thinking of going through ECU's recruitment and I want to help her get ready. Are recommendations needed? How competitive is it? Any information would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

I did look, but I couldn't find anything. And using search didn't seem to help me either. If someone comes across a past (but not too old) thread, could you post a link to it? Thanks again

I'm an ECU grad although I graduated many moons ago. I'm sure a lot of things have changed. I don't think recs are a huge deal however I would still go ahead and get them. Recs wouldn't hurt. Recruitment is by no means a cake walk but it's not ridiculously competitive. Generally young ladies who maximize their options can do well. It wasn't uncommon when I was there in the 90's for upperclassmen to receive bids although that could be different now.

Best of luck to your niece!
