I had a clear first choice and a "fine, I'll accept the bid if I have to" choice, but I'd have never said so at the time. First, I've NEVER been good at the "I'm just really not that into you" conversation. But also, I was smart enough to know that I didn't know how this was all going to turn out. Thankfully it turned out how I wanted so I didn't have to bear down and take what I had. But if I had, I wouldn't have egg on my face for having opened my trap.

Knowing my daughter she didn't say it out right. She's a pretty shy girl. She may have just told me that she said that. I'll have to go back and ask her. She would have accepted a bid at any of these 3 houses so I doubt she said anything that would have hurt her. She was probably just being over confident with me. I really didn't think of how that sounded when I typed it.

As I said two roommates are Corps of Cadets new members and the third is a proud new member of Reveille.

Thumbs up

Well she went to Bid Day at Blue Bell park and waited for time to open her invitation. She sent a text to me again with just one word.

Bonfire, which was one of her favorites from day one. She is extremely excited to me a new member of

Delta Gamma

and yes it was their sign she threw on Pref morning.

Their bid day photo can be found on their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/aggiedeltag...type=1&theater

Whew! I'm glad it all worked out. I love how DG has such a universal image. Those sailor hats are such a small thing but such an instant bond.

I had a feeling she was leaning DG, especially when you said she threw the sign. The A&M Chapter is a wonderful chapter and she's going to love it! It sounds like she had a great attitude throughout the experience!
