You know what's awesome - getting up early for work. It's awesome. By awesome, I mean I would love to get beaten with a textbook because then I'd be asleep hopefully.

I've had three tests the last three days. One was on yield to maturity and all sorts of other fun investment stuff. One was on budget lines, indifference curves, and intertemporal choices. The one this morning is on Supreme Court cases surrounding exotic dancing and pornography. I like how my two majors are making themselves as seperate as possible right now.

Some bastard ate all the frosted flakes so i'm left with honey nut cheerios which pretend they're good for you but really aren't and just taste like they're good for you.

The building people gave me a rose when i walked in...how cute!

ok, so i have been having excruciating pain the past few wks.....been outta work for 2 wks, they moved me to a greeter position so i wouldn't be walking around (b/c i can't), but now i have to be on COMPLETE bedrest.......of course, mom and dad decided to move me home for the next little while so i wouldn't have to climb stairs to get to my apt b/c any movement kills me.

i had an x-ray and an MRI done weeks ago....they said everything came back normal. went to the dr again on monday, he upped my meds to lortabs, another steroid, and flexiril......he also sent me to an orthopaedic surgeon this morning.....where he found in 2.5 seconds 2 degenerating discs in my lower back from that same MRI they said was normal. so NOW i have to go on tuesday to get an epidural shot so i can be able to move again. bed rest for a week. tomorrow is valentine's and i prob won't get to see my b/f b/c i have to stay here.

so i was reading Bridget Jones Diary - Edge of Reason (the 2nd one)

did anyone else find it ironic that Bridget was interviewing Colin Firth (from pride and prejudice - who played mr. darcy) when Colin Firth is in the movie and Mark Darcy?!

That just made me laugh

yep. i read that they had to change around that part of the movie since colin firth wouldn't be able to play mr. darcy and himself!

okay, i have a ton of work to do. today is the deadline for this stuff, but for the most part the stuff that needs to be booked is done, the rest of it does not need to be in today..

the question now is - do i
a) take lunch and go to the mall because i could really use the break then come back and make sure everything that absolutely must be done today is done,

b) work through lunch to get all of this done, get some more comp time and hopefully i won't have to stay late tonight

c) take a lunch, go to the mall b/c i need the break, come back and do everything that absolutely must be done today, and then stay late tonight to get some of the stuff done that is not imperitive that it is done today but i'd rather not let it pile up for next week..

ugh too hard of a decision, i dont know what to do

So basically yesterday I learn this incredibly complex way to model an issuer's finances to tell them how much they would save per bond if they reissued with a new debt structure.

Basically I didn't learn it.

Today I learned a way to copy and paste parts of it and then change things and say I only got this far.

I just saw this woman in my office who is wearing 4 different shades of brown, none of which match. Her hat is camel-colored, her dress is chocolate brown, her hose are a weird tan color (not nude or suntan), and her boots are a weird light reddish-brown. It's pretty awful.

Yeah they think I created it on my own from scratch...it took them a day to make that and i did it in an hour on my first try. I'm a super duper genius.
