Hmmm..... We are returning to Iowa State (Alpha Nu) in a few years. Our former house is now owned by Alpha Phi.
(In regards of renting the former house)

I remember when Phi Tau left. For whatever reason the fraternity/house corp decided to sell the facility shortly thereafter and it was bought and turned into apartments. I was disappointed, I hated to see that happen. The only other instances I can remember of a fraternity leaving campus and selling their house was Sigma Nu (bought by Alpha Sigma Phi who then sold/traded houses with Beta Sigma Psi who currently reside there) and Delta Sigma Phi who sold to Sigma Pi. Acacia's house was turned into a b&b when they left, but they were able to buy it back when they returned to campus.
However, there seems to be a trend of apartments that were once fraternity dwellings being bought out and converted back to fraternities. Alpha Phi did it as did Delta Chi with the old Phi Delt house. So maybe that's what some of these new chapters are hoping to do.
I see that Chi Phi is returning to campus this year. Likewise Delta Sigma Phi and Triangle have been in the process of attempting to reestablish their chapters at Iowa State.

FGCU IFC announced via instagram (because thats how things happen now?????) that Alpha Epsilon Pi are being added to IFC and will participate in Fall 2015 recruitment. I posted a while ago about the group since I had seen posts about their chapter being associated FGCU but I had never heard of them. Guess my question was answered.

Nope. ZTA is there as of Spring 2015.

Auburn Presentations
Tri Sigma presented last night, but I was not able to attend due to a prior commitment. I attended and very much enjoyed the Delta Phi Epsilon presentation tonight. Since I didn't attend both presentations, I won't be able to get the survey Panhellenic is sending out asking for opinions. It is my understanding that only each sorority's elected delegate to the Extension committee will get to vote.

Sigma Tau Gamma is colonizing at Lindenwood University-Bellevue Campus (Il). This will be the first IFC chapter at LI-B. Congratulations and good luck!

Congratulations to Sigma Alpha Epsilon on rechartering Ohio Lambda at Kent State University(OH). The colony received their charter this past weekend.

TA&MU College Station is beginning the process for expansion. I believe chapters vote in September and it goes to a vote at Panhellenic in October. If this goes well, then they are looking at a Spring colonization. I really hope this happens as we are out growing our houses with several chapters close to or over 300.
This is from a very reliable source.
