What is RBD?
Recycling Black Dollars (RBD) Communications is a conscious effort on the part of Black business men and women, professionals, entrepreneurs and consumers to control economic resources and create jobs, commercial exchange and community stability. The genesis of RBD occurred in 1988.

Recycling Black Dollars as an organization relies on its mission to provide a focus for our activities. Our mission is our Alpha and Omega; we are governed by the tenets that we promulgate and are bound by the scope of our core values. The litmus test is whether or not we are consistent in the dispensation of our duties and responsibilities. Any activities that we engage in must always reflect our commitment as “black professionals rendering quality services to all.”
Recycling Black Dollars’ Core Values define who we are and what matters most to our organization. We have set fundamental operating principles based on a set of shared beliefs that outline how staff members should act when dealing with fellow members, our corporate partners and the general public. These core values are the steering mechanism that guides us to be the best and expect excellence from members of the organization.
Mission
Facilitate greater participation of African Americans in the Free Enterprise System of America. We promote the exchange of goods and services between African Americans and foster greater exchange with Majority Corporations by African Americans.

Professionalism and accountability: We promise to set a standard of professionalism that is consistent with the expectations of all practitioners in American commerce. We thereby hold ourselves accountable to the consumers of our services and stand behind our services with the utmost in integrity.
