I think a lot of people think that an asteroid has to slam into the ground in order to do damage. It doesn't necessarily have to slam into the Earth to kill off a lot of life. There's a really big one that's about 6 miles wide, that's also headed our way. Sometimes Jupiter is our friend and collects most of them, but some of them it throws at us, too.

She had a dislocated shoulder, was dehydrated and disoriented.
Hope she's OK! She's 89 and hasn't really had any issues before besides bronchitis.
Hope she's alright!

That's how I feel about Fresh Market's traditional wings. Fortunately, I don't get them often.

I typically buy uncooked chicken breasts, but the last time I went, I was in a hurry and grabbed the pre-cooked "frozen" foods. I didn't have much hope for the wings, but I think I ate the entire bag (over 20 wings) in just a couple of days.

Kroger is right by my house, so I may be heading there to get some more

So I owe $700+ more than they told me at first. I had a small tantrum about it because I really wanted to excess of my refund to start rebuilding my savings. I feel like I just can't ahead. But I can still pay it so it could be worse. I know I'm blessed to have the money to pay it at all but I would just like to get through one week with no setbacks.

I'm so happy she looks like she'll be okay! Do you think she'll reconsider wearing an alarm now? Or another alternative if that's available?

I was happy not too long ago. Why do I want nothing more then to cry right now!

A guy I work(ed) with died last night. He was only about 45 and has a son who is a senior in high school. He got sick a few weeks back I guess (I was on leave), and then a lung collapsed. Then he had a stoke while in the hospital for the lung. Then an infection set in, but they weren't sure where. He even sent around an email last week telling us he was on the mend. Very sudden and unexpected.

I'll keep her in my prayers. That can be tough for a woman that age.

Hope so, but knowing her.. no! She's stubborn, usually in a good way but sometimes to her detriment.
I think we need to tell het that it's the only way she can remain independent. I love and admire how independent she is, and really hope she gets over herself and wears an alarm so she can stay that way.
I can only hope to be that strong at 89!

Thank you terrorists for making the government institute ridiculous requirements for photo identification. My new license photo was problematic as I was smiling too broad (anyone who knows me knows I don't smile broadly), my hair was too close to my face, and I wore my glasses instead of contacts. Next time I'll just get botox to keep from smiling and wear an ugly headband with a low pony tail or have corn rows so no hair will come near my face.

Between the irritation of every nit pick requirement and their allowing people to jump in the line during the transactions of others; I am giving a facial expression that is Joan Crawford meets young Leona Helmsley in my photo. My assistant said I look as if I'm about to shank someone or reach out and give a severe backhand in a fight.
