Thanks, Cheerful. He decided to dedicate his life to rock climbing but he's not even a professional rock climber. He has a full time job as a software developer. Or at least, he did as of two weeks ago. For all I know, he's quit his job and taken the dive into van life. (if you've never heard of it, google it)

Something very distressing happened at work in December. He stood by me through the entire thing. As soon as I started to feel better about going to work in the morning - i.e.: the first day I didn't cry on the drive to work - he laid this bomb on me.

^^^Mr. KDR left me to commit his life to rock climbing - at least that's the story he told. Who knows if that's the truth or if he left me for another woman. He's lost all credibility at this point, so I don't put anything past him.
The lesson I learned - never ever am I hooking my wagon to someone like that ever again.

Yeah, I've lurked for a bit, especially since a lot of us moved over to Facebook and my ability to contribute as an alumnus has waned. Sorry you've been going through a rough patch, hopefully it passes quickly.
I can't WAIT to get back to working regularly. Shoveling show is an okay change, but it's been overall too inconsistent.
