Bad high school transcript advice?

I should graduate with the class of 2012 but my counselor was able to help me graduate 1 year early so I ended up graduating in 2011. I wanted to graduate early because my gpa was embarrassing and terrible. So terrible I won't mention it for my sake. Anyways, this is my second semester at cc and I applied for transfer to a university and I really want to go through rush for a sorority. I know I will need at least 1 recommendation for each house but im too ashamed to give my transcript to any rec writers or to register with the local alumnae panhellenic. My college gpa good but Im not sure how to overcome 3 years of absolute failure and suckiness. any suggestions?

You shouldn't need to worry about your HS GPA since you now have a college GPA. Make certain, however, that all your credits transfer and that your class status is correct when submitting a resume to your rec writers.

Hey, at least you didn't just say screw it and drop out. I'm glad moving on to cc worked out for you.

Oh gosh, I never would have dropped out haha. Some people have background stories for their bad grades or gpa but I personally don't. I can own up to the fact that I was lazy, did not prioritize as I should have and didn't take homework as seriously as I should. Of course I ended up with the consequences of that but I needed a fresh start.
Looking back I wish I could redo high school. My daddy and brother are fraternity men and my daddy always told me I would regret my grades when sorority rush comes. But I decided to try a fresh start.
