The Homecoming Queen at UNC-Wilmington is a Tri Sigma!
Miss Newberry College (Homecoming Queen) as well as Miss Sophomore at Newberry (SC) are Tri Sigmas as well.

It's that time of year again. The Ohio State University has announced their homecoming court. The court is selected based on application, GPA, scores and individual interviews.
1- Delta Delta Delta
2- Alpha Gamma Delta
2- Kappa Delta
1- Alpha Sigma Upsilon (agriculture sorority)
2- Fijis
4- Sigma Phi Epsilon
1- Sigma Pi

 Already? Didn’t classes just start? Heck, football season hasn't started yet.
Since it is just the start of the new semester, when do the the students fill out their applications and have their individual interviews? Are the candidates selected based on "last year's" work?

You are correct its much earlier than normal. Homecoming is October 1 through 6 and the student body will vote on them. At least by limiting the ballot now, nobody can elect Maudine The Cow as queen again.

I love that! 
Back to the humans, it makes sense to get started now with such an early Homecoming. But just the idea of having interviews right at the start of a new semester seems rather daunting. Then again, I guess that is why they are “royal material”.

No Greek women this year, but two of the Homecoming King nominees are members of Alpha Epsilon Pi & Kappa Sigma respectively.

This past wekeend at Murray State, Aimee Beasley (Alpha Omicron Pi) was crowned 2012 Homecoming Queen and Michael Dobbs (Alpha Gamma Rho) was crowned 2012 Homecoming King.

I go to Valparaiso University, and our Homecoming King is a Phi Mu Alpha, our queen is a Kappa Delta, and one of my SAI sisters actually got on court! If we've ever had someone on court, it's been a long time since we did.

An Alpha Delta Pi is homecoming princess at the University of Miami and a KKG is Homecoming Queen. A SigEp won Homecoming King this year as well!
