Congrats to KD at Elon! I've sat in on presentations for both KD and Alpha Delta Pi in the past at Elon, and both were very impressive. A new sorority is definitely needed, and I think KD will do very well

To clarify on the Delta Chi colonizations (although I'm not sure if you can edit anymore...) we are no longer colonizing at Bloomsburg, and we did not begin our colonization at Virginia Tech unfortunately. Also, I believe Vermont is going to be in Fall 2011 - but don't quote me!

^^^At times. We are slated to colonize at Grand Valley in Fall 2012 (and were selected back in Spring 2010).
Sometimes a school will select 2 groups and place them 2 years apart.

I believe Theta Phi Alpha will also be colonizing at Grand Valley in Fall 2011 :-)

I don't know if this has been posted anywhere and I don't recall seeing this on GC....(Obviously the Alpha Phi news is old news but I wasn't aware AOII had been selected to come to campus to between 2012 and 2014!)
Florida State University (Tallahassee, FL)- AOII was recently
notified that Florida State has decided to stack after holding extension
presentations in Spring 2010 and selecting Alpha Phi. AOII was recommended to Panhellenic and voted to be the next sorority on FSU's campus no earlier than Fall 2012 and no later than Fall 2014. This will be a re-colonization of the Alpha Pi Chapter for AOII. The Alpha Pi chapter of AOII was installed on May 6, 1928.
I'm so excited about this! Granted it is a few years away! Yeah!

Our Cal State-Dominguez Hills group completed its founders program recently, so we now have a colony at that school.
ETA: We also have a new colony at University of Wisconsin.

Yay for AOII! I was so disappointed when we weren't initally selected last year (happy for Alpha Phi, though, of course!) so it's so great to hear that Alpha Pi will be recolonized!

Does anyone know about Panhellenic expansion at University of Louisville? I've heard rumors from folks in Louisville that three sororities are being considered. Just curious!
ETA: U of L is open for expansion for a 7th NPC chapter for a Fall 2011 Colonization. Current chapters at U of L are: Alpha Omicron Pi, Chi Omega, Delta Zeta, Kappa Delta, Pi Beta Phi, & Sigma Kappa.

Wish Alpha Gam would colonize. Seems like I hear abouf UCF about as much (okay not AS much) as FSU and UF.
I just hope that UGA beats them in the Bowl Game.
