I'm sorry. That's rotten when you go to the trouble of making something by hand. We met our daughter, SIL, and granddaughter at Texas Roadhouse to celebrate his birthday. Now granddaughter is spending the night. Currently crying and calling pitifully for GiGi( me) from the crib.

This happened to me once. A friend gave me an oven thermometer to test the temperature and it was running hot.
This was about 20 years ago and it just needed a new heating element, which pops out very easily. I was able to buy a new one for about $20-$25 and installed it by myself.
Newer ovens...who knows? I miss old appliances.

Thanks for the tip! I'm going to test it. This is a recipe I've made many times and the second time in a row it's been dry -- never happened with my old oven.

Care Package Alert!!!!!

Thinking Chili and my wish came true!!! WOW!!! Threw in a sleeve of crackers. Worked out well as I was low too!!

Also got Banana and Blue Berry bread.

Weather cold with a bit of snow, so time was super, LOL!
