I do not know Delta Gamma's current policies on actives writing recs. I do know back in the Stone Age, we had one day during rush when we'd write recs for the women we were hoping to pledge.

Call around? Nope. Research? Nope. All pre-internet, of course. We'd just write 'em with what we knew. It bit us once during my four years. But that was a high percentage; we pledged no more than 4-5 a year, and never had more than 25 members at once. Then. I'm happy to report things have changed for that chapter, and school!

Any Delta Gamma can write a sponsor form(what other groups call a rec) but most chapters have rules about women in the chapter writing one for a PNM at her own school.

Delta Gamma recs

Well, I think my daughter will have overkill here as she is a legacy and has 6 rec's (all OK according to the ATC)....!
Also has the same set up with DDD, also via advice of the alumni recruitment person for Mizzou..
We are only missing SK and SSS at this point, have found everything else. Now its up to her!!!

Gosh, I hope DD can find SSS and SK recs. It might be tragic if she falls in love with either or both of those two and does not have recs.
