How can I find out why a chapter went inactive?

Hey Sisters!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful semester and had a great Spring Rush/COB. We COBed 4 new girls and they are wonderful! I am so happy for them

I was wondering if besides calling nationals, is there a way to find out why a chapter lost its charter or went inactive? There are several chapters in TX that are no longer active and I'm curious to what happened and if it could ever be reversed. If anyone has any information, please let me know.

I think the best way to get accurate information is to contact Nationals.

Sorry to crash - you could also look through the school newspaper archives (usually the university keeps these, not the newspaper itself), although depending on the school paper the information may be more or less accurate.

I think there's only 2 reasons why a chapter would go inactuve/lost thier charter, and those would be numbers and risk management reasons. There might be others. I would contact nationals.
