Congrats to DG! Disappointed we didn't get it, of course, but it's a great school and I know DG is going to do well there.

Delta Tau Delta's U of Arizona chapter de-recognized by DTD HQ and U of AZ
Delta Tau Delta has de-recognized its U of Arizona chapter, and so has the university. Repeated violations of policies and poor academic performance were reportedly cited by DTD HQ.

As other GCers have pointed out, if this keeps up, pretty soon the U of AZ will be devoid of fraternities.

One of the problems I know of at U of A and ASU, and other GCers can chime in if they want, is that the fraternities keep operating as unaffiliated chapters that recruit new members and throw parties without any of the "hindrances" of university or national oversight. So there will eventually be groups that call themselves fraternities, but they won't be the kind of fraternities we want around.

I know I've said this before, but if underground groups exist and flourish, it's a sign that the recognized groups are lacking in something. It's up to them to figure out what it is.

Speaking of ASU, we will be colonizing there this Fall, per the ASU IFC web site.

Hello All,
I would just like to add for Alpha Gamma Delta that we will be colonizing at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in Fall 2016 per our official website. I didn't see it on the list.

That will go on next year's list. This year's list is for Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 colonies, as well as colonies from previous years. The year numbers can get confusing!
