Your Fave Flower
Since it's springtime, I thought it would be cute to find out what everyone's favorite flower is...
Mine is the lily...especially the white ones!

I LOVE sunflowers, but I live in a cave (literally it is pretty much underground) so I don't get to grown them. I also love Texas Bluebonnets which are blooming everywhere rt. now.
Just a note for those of you that have cats and may get Easter Lilly plants this weekend-they are toxic to cats-will cause death-just a friendly reminder

I love tulips! I always loved them when spring rolled around and they grew in my mother's flowerbed in the front lawn. I knew not to ever pick them, but instead smell them fondly! They're my favs!
That and I love snapdragons. Those grew in abundance in my grandmother's flower garden and I would always pinch them so they looked like they were opening their mouths (something my grandmother taught me).
Funny, but my two most favorite flowers are such because of fond memories!

Love roses. A guy friend of my would always bring me roses when he came to see me. Once he brought me a vase of white ones. They were so pretty.
I'm also starting to like tulips. My apartment complex has some planted around the pool area and they are so pretty. The yellow and pink ones are my fave

Stargazers- I had them at my wedding and they smell sooooo good!
Lilac- the only thing I will steal. I will literally pull my car off to the side of the road and pilfer them off someone's tree if I see them.
Carnations- they last soooo long-weeks and weeks

Impatients are like little roses and come in a huge variety of colors. Hubby and I have done our own landscaping-it's like living art. All year long we have something blooming.
Our newest additions this year are climbing roses and lavender.
Everytime we plant something new, the whole darn neighbor- hood jumps on the bandwagon. So, we keep changing it and transplanting things to keep it unique. Before we moved in, no
one had flowers in their front yard, now it's the norm. Samething happened when we planted Chinese fringe flower.

No doubt about it...lillies....especially Easter lillies. I even made my junior and senior prom dates get me lillies instead of roses.
Gotta admit, though...red and buff roses look really cool.

Oooh, aggieAXO, I miss bluebonnets! I love them! Hootie, you must go out and see the fields of them your first spring in Texas!
But carnations , especially wine ones, are special too and of the tropical flowers, plumeria would be my favorite! No one, not even B and BW, can reproduce the real fragrance of plumeria--it's kind of like a sweet Coppertone.

Red and Buff roses, of course!
But aside from that, I also love lavender or peach colored roses, lilacs (although not quite as much as Sue), and forget-me-nots.

I love lillies and orchids ! They are the most beautiful flowers! All I've evr gotten from guys are roses, and though I do like roses, they get old after a while.

I'm a fan of White Daisies ; but I think cream colored roses are a really close second!

My favorite flowers are Amaryllis, Roses and Tulips. I especially love Amaryllis since they are hardy and I don't have a green thumb.

I love lots of types of flowers, but these were the ones that came off the top of my head:
Lilly of the Valley, Daffodils, Magnolias, Roses, Lilacs, Tulips...
