I know back in 95 I visited U of Ilinois which is a huge greek school and I had a great time during fall break at this block party that Beta was a part of. With 2 other fraternities and three sororities...The Beta House there is pretty huge...I mean we never had one at my school so I was in awe.

Kevin,

That's where I went. Betas have one of the most impressive houses, with probably the biggest pillars of any house on our campus. I wonder what other houses participated in that block party. I know Betas have the Miami Triad party with Sigma Chi and Phi Delts, but I believe that's in the spring. Block parties were always huge at my school.

Thumbs up

Kevin,

Don't have much experience with a chapter -- though I can picture where the house is at MSU. However, I did have the great experience of touring your national hdqrters. during PFA last year. WOW! I was incredibly impressed.

Alumnus who cares,

Cool. I think one of the sororities might have been Tri-Delt and one of the fraternities Phi Delt or Delta Chi. It was a crazy night. I do remember one night during that weekend crashing late night at the Pike house(pretty good size) though. Actually all the sorority and fraternity houses look pretty large. One of my brothers is from Bloomington and he had a friend who was a Pike there at U of I.

BFulton: Cool. Yeah, Oxford is pretty nice.

At my school(Southern Illinois University) we have a small greek system, and Betas are new. But they are one of the best fraternities on campus. They sweeped Greek Awards and are, for the most part, the best gentlemen on campus, Greek or GDI.
