I'm in the process of looking for a job AND planning my wedding! I really think I'm going insane. I've been sending my resume to a bunch of marketing/public relation firms, but no luck yet... maybe next week!

YAY! I got a job I got a job I got a job!!!!

In March I start a position at a YMCA camp in Connecticut... it's very short-term (my contract is only until June, but I'll probably stay for the summer as well... depending on how I like it!) and I'm SO excited about it. I get to play with kids and hopefully get some outdoor education experience that will lead to bigger and better things.

I'm currently applying for a buttload of jobs for a position starting in September - all over the place, boarding schools and year-round camps and still Disney Cruise Lines...

Good luck to everyone out there who's still looking!

I'm having NO luck at all! I have a music degree, but I really want to go into promotions. I have a ton of experience in PR for college orgs and stuff, but I have a feeling people take one look at my degree and throw my resume away. I've received awards... Who's Who and I'm in ODK, but I'm having a hard time selling myself with my degree. Any suggestions?

P.S.-I have a business minor
