I meant to post this before - not sure if it's been mentioned. On the Today Show, yesterday or the day before, these couples were starting out a competitive game to have their wedding paid for or something like that. As the camera panned to one of the couples, the man threw up a hook. And I smiled. LOL!

APhiA was on the local news here tonight, for sponsoring a political debate. Gave me another quick opp for pointing out to my mother the good deeds, etc., of BGLOs

I rode the elevator down at work with one of the new guys - he was carrying a Kappa Alpha Psi bag. He was very impressed that I had heard of it! (Of course! It was founded at my alma mater!)
At the train station I saw a girl in a Pi Phi T-shirt.

I chatted with an Alpha Gamma Delta from UAkron who was working at the mall yesterday.

OU press conference
Not too proud of this one, but Rhett Bomar was wearing our fraternity letters on a party shirt during his press conference after getting kicked off the OU football team.

Now that my D is getting ready for college and has been getting her recommendations, Greek life is definitely in her mind. She came home the other day from the Metro and asked me what was Kappa Phi Lambda (she saw someone wearing a letter jersey). She actually drew it out because she doesn't know all the Greek letters.

Do You have an old Members Manual?
Show Her ariesrising web site and explain to Her. She has to learn sometime. Better from You than finding out when she is getting into the situation of GLO recuitment.
Cube, there maybe and will be a stain by someone of letters!

The Lacoste perfume salesman at Saks yesterday turned out to be a Lambda Chi. He asked about my Greek Week t shirt then said that he was a Lambda at Towson University, along with some other stuff that I'm not going to get into.

Last nite at Bowlmor Lanes, a woman was wearing a lettered SAI shirt. my sorors were like, "what org is that? what's their colors? why'd her letters have a pattern on them?"
if i recall correctly, SAI is the women's music sorority? i dont remember the colors, but im sure its not teal and red paisley print...

I saw a homeless person wear a Zeta something something sweatshirt, I didnt catch the whole thing. One time I went with my cheapskate friend to a place called the exchange or something,..... and I saw some Delta Gamma shirts there. I was tempted to buy them and give them to the DG sisters

Last week I saw a woman driving a jeep with Maryland vanity plates that read "PHI MU". I was very excited (the whole Macon Magnolia thing) but either she didn't notice my ADPi euro-style magnet or didn't get it or just didnt' care... I choose to believe she just didn't notice.

I was out with hubby for a late lunch and heard a voice I recognized! It was one of the girls from my chapter that I advise!
Can't believe they move into the dorm next week!! A week ahead of last year!
