Number of days since the last post in this forum!

What is everyone up to?

I've been very busy with work. I handle the juvenile docket and we are trying to get all cases heard before the end of the academic year. What fun it's been, I promise!

Even though I no longer get a "summer," I am still looking forward to it!

I'm just trying to survive motherhood. This is so much harder than I thought it'd be, and I thought it'd be the hardest thing I've ever done. I am almost never on here anymore! I've also developed mastitis for the second time already! Last time I had to be admitted to the hospital, but luckily this time the medicine is working. Although it causes a very fussy baby!

I have been super busy with work also. I am loving every minute of my job and the fact that I work with lots of Navy boys doesn't hurt either. Also we've been having a bunch of outdoor events that I help run, so it's nice to not be in front of my computer.

I did just attend a sister's wedding which was AMAZING and it was so fun. We were there for about 10 hours and were not the last to leave the reception!! I'm amazed at how many sisters are married, getting married, or probably going to be engaged in the next year.

Not much else, it's summer, I'm hoping to make it to the family beach house in Boston, but not much leave built up yet and there is a possibility of a cruise sometime next fall.

If you make it up to the beach house let us know. We haven't had an event for a little while between my new baby and Stacie's wedding (was last weekend, she was beautiful!!!!!). I think it'd be fun to have a dinner somewhere easy. We'd all love to see you!

I've been staying away from GC lately. I also stepped down from my CA duties, and have been on a self-imposed A Phi hiatus for a little bit. But I miss you guys.

I just graduated!!!! Now I'm trying to figure out where I'm going to work and live... Right now, if all goes well I'm going to be moving to Orange County and working as a manager for Hollister (the Abercrombie clothing company, not the city).

I was also supposed to leave for Australia for a 2 week grad vacation...but the friend I was supposed to go with flaked on me last minute

I see you were a West Wing fan too; I really miss the show and it has only been about 3 week; I was looking forward to seeing Jimmy Smitts as President. It seems several of my favorite shows were cut from the fall; Oh well, I don't really have the time for tv anyway. Maybe we could get Santos to run in real life; haha

I sat through Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith just so I could see Jimmy Smits. Of course, Ewan McGregor might've had something to do with it too, but you gotta love Smits. I'm in total West Wing withdrawal. I'm hoping that a full seven DVD box set of the series will be released in time for the holidays this year.

I just moved from Florida to Washington for a new job with Boeing... no grad school after all! I like making money.

I'm trying to see if I can get involved with the Seattle alumnae, but haven't heard anything back yet. Guess I will see if things pick up once summer is over.

I have a lovely new house, but not much inclination to attack the office yet.
