I can't see (from reading posts on this thread) that an extremely large group of women (numbering 100 total) are underserved by the panhellenic currently on campus.

Total was actually 70 at the beginning of the school year, and quota has been in the low 30s the past two years. Numbers there are are incredibly up. Total was raised after FR this fall as well. I'm very glad to know they are expanding as I think chapters at 90-100 are just huge for this campus.

So are they choosing one NPC Group, or will they stack as has become popular?

Hey AOIIalum (and other GC AOIIs), congratulations ! I'd say you're busy as beavers with 'new' chapters ( Oregon State recolonization, too).

Congrats to AOPi! I bet their WSU sisters will be happy to have the rivalry chapter
My heart breaks a little for the many sweet ladies from Phi Mu very involved in the Seattle Alumnae Panhellenic that I know want so badly for their chapter to return to UW.

Wow - congratulations to Pi Phi and Kappa! Chapman is a super Greek friendly campus, and has seen really spectacular growth in the last decade. Fun Fact: in pageant circles in California, Chapman is known to be a major breeding ground for beauty queens. The current Miss California is a DG from Chapman, and last year the university sent seven students or alumnae to the Miss CA pageant.
I am a little surprised they would stack the expansions only a year apart though. It seems a little unfair to Kappa.

Congrats to KD, ZTA and AGD! I suppose Gamma Phi has had a pretty good run the last month, so I won't dare sulk about these

There are a couple interesting stories about colonizations in this spring's Quill, including a story about an Alpha Xi sister who is helping with the AOII colonization at San Jose State. I thought some others might enjoy reading about the process! Included in the story about Rhode Island is a comment that they did a few Alumnae Initiations for gals who had been members of the local that was absorbed, and at DePaul there were 3 mothers initiated. I think this is a great thing about Alpha Xi Delta in expansions.

VCU is apparently a stacked expansion. Gamma Phi Beta's International Council bulletin that just arrived in my in-box states that we will be colonizing at VCU in "2015-2016 or beyond."

Phi Sigma Sigma is also supposed to return to VCU in 2015. Wonder if they will do 2 expansions like this year? Zeta Tau Alpha colonized in the fall and Alpha Xi Delta colonized in the spring.
VCU is really trying to build their Greek system. It's nice to see campuses like VCU, Appalachian State, Florida Gulf Coast, Florida Atlantic, and others that want a larger presence of Greek Orgs.
