Am I the only one who didn't feel bad for Courtney when she was crying on the "Women Tell All" episode of "The Bachelor" tonight?

So is my professor but today he was really funny. When he needs to use examples to explain the text, he uses us as the subject of his hypothetical stories but he kept accidentally hitting on personal details. He was on a roll tonight and never realized why the class was cracking up.
1. He used R in his "bad mommy" example not realizing R is actually going to be a mother (she's not showing yet).
2. He labeled S as a special ed kid, totally oblivious to the fact that she was in special ed most of her childhood.
3. He spoke of a hypothetical kid with an IQ of 136 with anxiety issues. 2 of us in the class have IQs of 136 and had anxiety issues as children.
It went on and on and on. We all know this info about each other but he was so clueless. If he had known, it might have been perceived as offensive but his not knowing made it hilarious. He was getting super amped thinking we must be laughing because he was funny so it egged him on and we just laughed harder.

I got my haircut Friday and I was in denial of how long my hair really was. I had to stand up for the stylist to cut it as it flowed over the back of the chair. I got four inches cut off and it is still almost all the way down my back with the curl/wave. I feel kind of guilty now that I didn't do another Locks of Love donation, but at the rate my hair grows it shouldn't take too long.
I was happy to report to my sister that my stylist found nary a gray hair and my blonde hasn't darkened to brunette, it has actually become more red as I've aged. I fully expect to go silver really fast and not gradually.
No more Crystal Gayle Realness for awhile.

Whaaaa? *looks around for him* Well, I didn't expect to wake up to this.
SN: Your post reminds me of people who used to stand around with signs that said "FREE MICHAEL (JACKSON)!!!" like being arrested = being in jail.

@ Cen...lol. I was always leery every time I would see a new username posting in D&R, because I would think it was Xanthus. Cen was bad, but not as bad as Xanthus. I actually thought Cen was hilarious! lol
Anywho..ending my lunch, back to work.

I might be the worst daughter ever. Who knows, really.
My dad left a VM on my cell while I was at work..."I haven't heard from you in two weeks, you don't love us."
I could see his being sad if it had been two weeks--it had been about 5 days. But, when you're retired I can see how 5 days seems like two weeks.
When I called back, he tried to guilt trip me. I responded, "I don't have time to play on the phone! I'm at work!" At that moment, our receptionist buzzed in a call for me so gladly I didn't have to deal with the fallout from that. When I called back (at lunch!) he was normal.

I usually talk to my mom everyday (unless we've had a spat). If it goes more than 3 days, she'll call and leave a VM saying "Okay, it's been 3 days so I'm checking in to make sure you're all right. Call your mother!" If I still don't call back, she sends my sister after me ("Call Mom, she's buggin' out"). I've never gone past that because if 3 days pass and she hasn't heard from me (and my sister says she hasn't heard from me), she would skip straight past the guilt trip and go overboard. I would not put it past her to send the police to my apartment for a wellness check.

I REALLY hope I can make it to my regional convention this weekend. It's being held at my alma mater and I'm trying to go through the Alumni Ceremony.

I definitely don't talk to my parents every day and I think they'd be worried if I did call them every day. I think I just lost patience with the overexaggeration (5 days = 2 weeks?), especially when I'm at work...we're so busy right now it's ridic.
My sister told me today that my nephew was talking about how much he misses me. My sister was all, well, what do you miss the most about Munchkin? His response?

Your nephew is my fave person on the planet, and we've never met.
My mom and I talk about every 2 weeks-ish. Same for my dad. My mom also lives less than 40 minutes from me, so I don't feel like I have to call a lot.
I also think the fact that I'm not a huge phone person factors into how often I call them. I'm really not one for a lot of "I just called to see what you were up to." If you call me, I would prefer it to be for a reason.

I know, tell me about it. I don't know why he got banned. I mean, minus the cuss words, he wasn't doing anything differently than what I've seen some seasoned members do. I didn't think he was that bad. He'll probably get banned by "Brandi" next. lol!
What I feel like saying now: I love slow surgery days, because as soon as I'm done, I go home. Well, today it's only an hour early, but still...it's still early.

When I was single, I talked to my mom on the phone about once a week. When I started planning my wedding, I started talking to her pretty much every day, and I never dropped the habit, especially once I got pregnant and had my daughter.

You are not the only one. She's acting.
I don't feel well. I don't feel like doing homework. I am so burned out.
