House of Spies - Daniel Silva

Only about 10 pages into it, but it's already very promising!

This may sound weird, but I like fiction which also gives you a bit of history or travel lore. In Linda Fairstein's books, there's usually some interesting bits about New York City (plus the standard Jeopardy! questions!); in Silva's books, it's usually art or European City trivia.

Does anyone else have a twist to their favorite authors such as this?

Finished Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstance and passed it on to my mom.

Currently reading Neil Gaiman’s Norse Mythology.

Not sure what will be next - something on my kindle, or something for kids, like The One and Only Ivan.

Received BECOMING by Michelle Obama for Christmas. I am about 1/3 into it and LOVE it so far. It is extremely detailed, well written and very readable. An autobiography and history lesson rolled into one.
