A simple, light brunch meal for mid-afternoon: scrambled eggs, sausages, french toast, and fruit cup. Milk, cranberry juice and water to drink.

FYI,
speaking of tomato soup, I got great deal on Pogresso soup. It was very very thin!
Worst I ever had.
More bacon and tomato sandwich coming up!

"Heavy appetizer" spread at Office of Student Life fraternity and sorority advisor meeting -- which makes up for meeting on a Friday evening.

Last night, my daughter and I got very creative and made homemade dim sum and crabmeat rangoons. We decided that the dim sum were too salty, but otherwise great, and we can correct that next time because the recipe called for 1 tablespoon of salt, and I think it should be 1 teaspoon. We made a lot and my daughter took some to our next door neighbors who just had a new baby.
The filling in the rangoons was great, but we sauteed them instead of plunging them into a deep fryer. This was a case where they need the full fat, deep frying treatment.
Tonight, I'm making another new recipe that sounded summery - peach and tomato salad, with balsamic vinaigrette, olive oil, feta cheese, basil, red onion and a couple other things.

Pork roast, potatoes, baby carrots with pork gravy.
Will be looking forward to some cold sandwiches soon!
