Why would ANY Greek group—male or female—want to colonize in Belmont’s Draconian atmosphere? Their freedom of association views need to be reviewed and updated—by about a century!

I wouldn't be mad if all the groups voluntarily ceded recognition at Belmont. If the administration doesn't want Greek life at all (which I suspect) this is a good way to go about driving them underground.

I am acquainted with Belmont, it really doesn't seem like a Greek life kind of school anyway. All of the students there are majoring in some type of music: music business, sound production, vocal, instrumental, song writing, etc. Most of them also have some side hustle going on too like showcases, working/interning at the Nashville music businesses, part time jobs, etc. Can't really see Greek Life being a thing there.

Psi U has a colony at Purdue and IIRC correctly our provisional chapter at Clemson was just approved for full membership.

Wow! That's nearby! I heard they were hoping to add Greek life since they became a four-year college!

Okay, it's been two days...which two KBG colonies did we miss being announced?

Well, in the posts you quoted yourself, five locations are named:
Georgetown University
Southeast Missouri State University
Texas
Penn State
St. John's University
However, the KBG website lists the following colonies:
Quote:
Alpha Rho: University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL
Alpha Sigma: Tennessee Wesleyan University, Athens, TN
Alpha Tau: University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Oshwana, Ontario
Alpha Upsilon: Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau, MO
Alpha Phi: Penn State University, University Park, PA
Alpha Chi: St. John's University, Staten Island, NY

Yes, but their propensity to announce a new colony each day lapsed and I was curious whether we missed two additional campus names during the interim.

I am perplexed how KBG is allowed to colonize at all these campuses. Did these campuses not announce extension and had no presentations?

Kappa Beta Gamma is not a member of NPC and as such is not bound by
the NPC Unanimous Agreements including the regulation of extension.

I don't get why someone would want to pledge such a group. Do they have more relaxed rules about what the group can do?

Just to add to the KBG news:
The Alpha Rho Colony at University of Alabama, was installed as a chapter this past weekend.
I cannot personally speak to why there is so much recent expansion, or how colonies are developed or schools are chosen, as I am not a part of that process.
