In the garage at my condo building - a car with Ole Miss license plates and KD letters in the window.

My husband and I were in Asheville this past weekend. We ate lunch at Tupelo Honey on Friday, and there was a Kappa from Clemson in the booth behind us. I noticed "Kappa Kappa Gamma" on her sweatshirt and told her I am a Kappa, too. She was with another young lady, but I don't know her sorority affiliation, if any. On a side note, we saw a lot of Clemson fans all over Asheville.

To de-stress during the holidays I sometimes stop into thrift stores and check for greek-lettered items. This past week I've seen letters for the groups Alpha Sigma Alpha, Phi Sigma Sigma, Alpha Gamma Delta, Kappa Sigma, Alpha Xi Delta, Delta Gamma, Delta Zeta, and Zeta Tau Alpha. There were also several pair of very large womens shoes with the same name inside each, so out of curiosity I googled her unusual name and discovered she had recently passed away but had been a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority.

I saw a nasty looking guy climbing into a ratty old truck today outside of McDonald's, and couldn't help staring at his sorority sweatshirt. He made a semi-obscene remark in a very heavy accent about why was I looking at him, and he's give me something to look at.

In other words, I drove off and didn't tell him that he was wearing a sorority sweatshirt!

I was at Walt Disney World last week and saw a girl wearing a red Alpha Omicron Pi tshirt. I didn't bug her but got SUPER EXCITED. My boyfriend thinks I'm a weirdo.

Did anyone else notice a certain winning Chicago mayoral candidate sporting what may have been a HUGE Alpha Kappa Alpha pin on the front of her outfit during her Tuesday night acceptance speech? Is Chicago mayoral runoff candidate Toni Preckwinkle a member of said organization, or was her pin extremely similar in appearance?

Hahaha...My sister is a Zeta, and her husband is a PIKE from the University of Florida. I'm sending her this picture. They're either going to cringe...or laugh. I'm not sure!

FWIW: even if the mom was confused about the "college day theme," who sends a first grader to school with red solo cups?

This evening, I got caught in traffic behind a car that had a pink and green license plate frame: "AKA - In Christ".
