it would be ok if they could access myspace and facebook...heh!
but if someone gets here at oh dark 30 in the morning and perfectly capable of doing what i do, why I am I rushing to be here when they could have had it all done?
Let me stop...I am going in a circle.
Time for lunch.

Dear Ex,
Even thought I'm pretty glad now that we're not getting married tomorrow, I would love to run into you tomorrow night while I'm out for my "It's not my wedding" party so you can see how fabulous and less stressed I look without you in my life.
Thanks,
C

Dear Friends Who Are Visiting Us For New Year's:
I'm really looking forward to seeing you guys. I'm also kinda glad it's your turn to fly out to us.
But you should have looked at a map before booking your flights. If you are going to Connecticut, you don't fly into Newark and rent a car. See, there's this little thing called Manhattan...
Since you're flying out on Thursday, I guess this means I'll see you some time Friday afternoon.
Cheers,
aephi alum

yeah Manhattan... and the Bronx... and White Plains...etc. they couldve tried to fly into White Plains, or some other point north.
Or perhaps that was the only flight they could get, into Newark, depending on where they are coming from.
why dont they take Metronorth up to you? Unless that would take as much time/money as renting a car.

Probably because Newark is the cheapest NYC area airport to fly into these days. I live 15 minutes from LGA and about 25 from JFK. It costs me about $450 to fly home for Christmas from those airports, while it costs about $350 to fly into EWR. Even if I took a cab each way (I usually take the shuttle or a train), it would STILL be cheaper to fly into EWR.

I'm getting one for Christmas! Well, technically a "Kozy" because I don't like the fleece Snuggie uses. I don't care how ridiculous they look....I spend a lot of time on my couch studying with my laptop and it will be perfect for that.
