Thank you for the information. Will bulldogbaskets have a list of the bids? I know at bama where our other daughter is they get the list to fill the orders?

I doubt it. UGA isn't as forthcoming with the new member lists as Alabama and Auburn.

You'll need to find out which group, have the address of your new member, and then call.

At the parent meeting on Tuesday before recruitment started on Wednesday, we were told the quota would probably be around 52. I just didn't know if that held true. If MinDyG spoke to a DG and she said it was 46, then that's probably accurate.

Wow. 300 girls were released or dropped out. Is that typical for Georgia, or was this recruitment just really tough? Also how many girls registered for rush this year compared to last year?

Yeah, I think it's pretty typical. A lot of girls drop when they aren't crazy about their invites.

I think the numbers are pretty typical. The quota seems a little down even when you add them together, but not a major way, and what we're hearing may be a little low based on the whole quota range deal that was explained in a different thread. Or maybe these are the final numbers, I don't know.

daughter rushed this week at UGA. She attended three prefs; had a blast all week. she felt as though all the sorority women were completely incredible. When she filled out her choices she said it was so hard. She said every house had so much to offer. And yes, the currents had terribly hard choices due to the deep cuts. She isn't a legacy anywhere, but was treated as though she were at every house. She is so excited for tom. I am not sure she will sleep for the first night of classes. This site helped her feel confident going into the week. Thank you on her behalf.

Bulldog baskets stated it is best to email them with the name and sorority tom when you find out. They find out at 5:30 pm but leave for the houses at 7:00. Good luck to all the girls tom.
