I'm trippin. They said the mega million is $500 million and it's supposed to go up. I play the lottery, and if I win that kind of money, I don't know what I would do with it. I don't think I would know how to handle that kind of cash flow.

I'm in a lotto pool at work. $5 a week per person gets split between all 4 of the big drawings (MMx2 and PBx2 each week). This week though, the guy that runs it is only entering the MM. He had nearly $300 for yesterdays drawing. He thinks we'll be over $500 for the next one. That's a lot of people to split it amongst, but I don't care.

I read somewhere that at a certain point it's statistically irresponsible not to buy a lottery ticket. I think this just may be one of those times. Has it ever been this high before?

I was thinking about this.
I have played the lottery once in my life (work pool) and it's not something that interests me. For $400+ million, though, I may have to throw my hat in the ring.
